Recognition of Revoria Presses and Fujifilm technology user in the Asia Pacific region for their extraordinary creativity and innovativeness
SINGAPORE, Nov. 29, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — FUJIFILM Business Innovation Asia Pacific announced today the winners of the Innovation Print Awards (IPA) 2022. Its 15Th IPA congratulates 47 winners across 10 countries in this year’s IPA Awards Asia Pacific This prestigious award was presented to the region. All users of FUJIFILM’s Business Innovation graphic communication solutions are eligible for the annual competition.
There was a total of 193 (single) submission for 25 categories — with the most competitive categories in Brochure, Catalogues & Leaflets and Packaging & Labels — over 40 entries were received for each of the category.
The entries under Brochures, Catalogues & Leaflets and Packaging & Labels categories grew more than double of last year and it demonstrated an upcoming trend and demand for short run packaging and labels. To entice customers, brands want to make their packaging more appealing. Digital print packaging is now more efficient than ever. It allows for shorter runs and just-in time delivery. There is also a lower minimum order quantity (MOQ), as the product’s lifecycle gets shorter.
“What we observed, what is trending, and what we noticed this past year — digital packaging in the competition has taken hold and was one our most important categories that we judged,” he said. Paul Callaghan*1IPA 2022 head judge. “In reality, we had two sub-categories: Rigid Packaging, and Carton Packaging. Digital packaging is not lagging, and I can assure that it has advanced.
Out of 47 winning entries, 34 were printed on Iridesse™ Production Press or Revoria Press™ PC1120, including the winner of the “Best Innovation Award”, Winson Enterprise (H.K.) Limited Edition Hong Kong. The submission, entitled “The Voyage of Life”, was inspired by a series of four paintings that were created by Thomas Cole*2The four stages of human life are represented by the symbol ”, Winson Enterprise applied the same idea, telling the story of a married couple. Each page displays a different type or effect of paper, representing intricately the changes in their lives and exuding a wide range of feelings and experiences.
