EFI showcases innovative textile solutions during ITMA in Italy

EFI Reggiani is showcasing the true sustainability and digital workflow advantages of its market-leading textile solutions at the ongoing ITMA, the world’s largest international textile and garment technology exhibition, taking place in Fiera Milano, Milan, Italy. Located in Hall 7, stand C101, EFI Reggiani is presenting its revolutionary and truly sustainable Reggiani ecoTERRA pigment printing line up, the super-high-speed EFI Reggiani HYPER and Reggiani BOLT XS direct-to-fabric printing solutions, and EFI Inèdit end-to-end digital textile workflows.

The EFI Reggiani EcoTERRA solution offers a complete solution for water-based printing with pigments. It does not require any ancillary equipment, such as pre- and post-treatment. Customers can now achieve a truly sustainable direct-to fabric printing solution by reducing the water, energy, and chemical consumption. EFI Reggiani presents its ecoTERRA lineup of four models for the first-time at ITMA. This includes a printing width of 340 mm, and speeds ranging between 150 and 600 sqm/hour. Customers can choose their TCO/ROI depending on the output volume and range of speeds. The company will now accept orders with standard delivery times.

Reggiani EcoTERRA water-based inks provide excellent wet/dry fastness properties. The inks also deliver incredible sharpness of detail and exceptional durability, while ensuring printhead life and reducing maintenance costs. EFI Reggiani’s ecoTERRA inks provide an improved tactile experience as well as fabric softness thanks to their enhanced polymerisation and finish unit.

In addition to highlighting EFI Reggiani’s truly sustainable product offering, the company will also demonstrate the significant productivity and efficiency advantages offered by its portfolio of high-speed, high-performance digital textile printers at ITMA 2023. The EFI Reggiani HYPER scanner printer and next-generation EFI Reggiani Bolt XS single pass textile printer will demonstrate how mass production can be transformed into a digital on-demand workflow.

EFI Reggiani’s HYPER digital textile printer is the fastest scanner on the market. The Reggiani Hyper printer is available in models 1.8, 2.4 and 3.4 metres wide. It delivers unmatched printing quality while delivering unparalleled productivity. With 72 printheads, ink recirculation to the nozzle plates, and a 1.5 metre-wide roll, it is capable of printing two-pass production quality at speeds as high as 13 linear metres per hour. The dual-roll feature on the 3.4 metre model allows users to achieve speeds of up to 20 metres per second, which is comparable to single-pass machines.

With speeds of up to 100 linear meters, increased uptime and reliability throughout, unmatched printing accuracy and minimal maintenance requirements, the new EFI Reggiani BOLT XS is a digital replacement for rotary print.

Visitors to the booth will also see EFI Reggiani’s new proprietary end-to-end digital printing workflow and the latest enhancements to EFI Inèdit digital textile software. Inèdit, now part of EFI Reggiani, is one of the leading developers of raster image processors (RIPs) and related software for digital industrial textile printing. The EFI Reggiani end-to-end workflow with Inèdit integration boosts productivity and production capabilities for digital textile print operations while ensuring maximum security for customer’s designs thanks to two-level encryption.

EFI Reggiani QUALITY will also be demonstrated, a user-friendly and advanced data analysis software that allows you to monitor your water and electricity consumption and track real costs per metre.

“ITMA is the largest textile printing showcase in the world and is the perfect stage to present our market leading EFI Reggiani portfolio – from super-fast digital textile printing equipment to end-to-end workflow solutions, to superior-quality aqueous inks and more,” said Scott Schinlever is the chief operating officer of EFI. “It is also the perfect opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to sustainable printing, demonstrating our innovative ecoTERRA pigment printing line up, our new BOLT XS printer, and a number of productivity enhancements – all backed by industry-leading service – that pay dividends for business profits as well as the planet.”
